Today was a foggy morning as Joseph headed out to feed the girls. After he opened the doors to the hen house, he noticed on the ground this egg. He started searching more and found another one inside under the roosting area. In his excitement he dropped one, but this one made it inside!
The two older hens (Tom and Moe) are about 5 months old now and we are officially in the egg business. By next month we should have about 10 eggs a day.
Joseph spent his morning cleaning out the hen house and laying new straw for the girls to nest in. He's such a good little chicken farmer!
