Shop Hop

Shop Hop is a weekend that the quilt shops within the Atlanta area get together to display the best of the best. Each shop has a theme and lots of quilts to devour, I mean gaze at. This was my first time hopping, so I brought along an expert, my mom.

Mom and Mom (that's what I call my granny) came down for the weekend and we hit 9 stores in three days, and it rained everyday! Whew! We actually cheated and hit one store twice, since it was our favorite. Honestly. That's a lot of fabric, quilts and gab. We had a great time and plan to do it again next year. Here's some quilts we saw along the way.

Happily Ever After was the theme and this is the Princess and the Pea.

Summer vacation. My boys would have loved something like this. Only problem is, I think it would end up at Boy Scout camp and that is a deal breaker in my book.

I'll post more quilts later along with the great fabrics I picked up.
