Boys, boys, boys

There is no doubt about it, the boys are growing up. They are beginning to do the "grown-up" things. Today Mark called a "Daddy Day". This means we don't have a normal school day. We do something special or a project. Today's project was yard duty.

It was also a day of learning. Jonny learned to drive the lawnmower. Did you know he's only 5 and yet here his is driving the Snapper around the yard. (No blades, just driving)

Joseph had the unique opportunity to watch "Tom" lay an egg. When we walked out to the coop today, she was hunkered down in the corner. Joe watched as she got up and make the cackle noises. Then he checked and sure enough an egg. Such excitement.

It not bad enough that he is taller than me, but now he's driving my car. Actually both boys drive the cars around the property, but today was special because he was pulling this.....

Yep, that's a trailer he's pulling with the hot tub in the back. Both boys can hook up a trailer and move them around the yard. The hot tub...another story, another time.

A day filled with activities...mowing, picking up limbs, mulching, moving hot tubs and being together, working together. A great day with my boys!
