They're Home

Today I picked up two weary travelers. They have seen and done it all! I asked Jacob if there was anything he didn't get to see or wanted to see but ran out of time, and he responded, "NO!"

Simply put, they had a blast and want to go again. The weather was great until yesterday, when it was scorching. They had no troubles with the subways, in fact, Jacob developed quite a sense of direction.

Top of the Rock with Empire State Building in the background.

Statue of Liberty. While they were visiting NYC, it was also Fleet Week. Several Apache helicopters flew around the statue making for a really cool moment.

One of Jacob's highlights. Yankee Stadium. He loved every minute of the games and arrived several hours early to watch batting practice. On Thursday while he was standing by the wall next to the warming track, here comes Reggie Jackson out for a jog. Unfortunately, Jacob didn't have anything for him to sign, but he was over-the-top with excitement!

I am so glad that they had a good time. Sounds like wonderful bonding time with Dad. =)
