Today we met up with the Chicken Whisperer to pick up Joseph's Christmas gift.

How does one wrap chickens? I had visions of Christmas Vacation, when the older couple arrived and she had wrapped the cat and the lime jello. I just love that movie. Anyway, back on subject...since you cannot wrap chickens, Joseph gets them early.
As you can see, they are very little, still having the fuzzy and very little feathers.
Here's the ten new ladies...he's not naming them as of yet. I think Joe's waiting until the feathers come in and we can see some more distinction.
Here's the "old broads." They are ready for the coop, which is being built next week.
I'm told this is Tom and Moe- the survivors.
Joseph is very happy to have another flock to care for and with our luck, all of these will live!

They are sooooo cute......just what gramps and i needed...."Grandchickens"!!!!
Sounds like you need a coop with a cover to keep out the critters. Hope they all survive. =)
And I can't wait to connect with you guys. Miss you so much.
