Moving Update

Wanted to give everyone a little update on the big move. I talked with the realtor today and she was full of good news. It seems the home mortgage has been assigned to a processor at the bank who is willing to work quickly. Once all the paperwork is in order, we can close in two weeks or less. So, it looks like maybe about 3-4 weeks from now we will take ownership.

Moving the stuff- boy have we wrestled with this one. Mark and I have had more conversations with the logistics of this move than we have about raising the boys. How do we get everything North? How many moving trucks will we need? How do we get ALL the vehicles up there? How do we move the hot tub, (I'd leave it!) Long story short, our diesel mechanic is also moving to Georgia (it's contagious) and is using a dry container being pulled by one of his clients. Well, that started us to thinkin'. Could Mark rent a trailer and move ourselves? Yes! The plan is to rent a 53 foot container trailer and pack it. Then Mark can just use that big ol' semi and move everything! If we fill that trailer- we have way too much stuff! Another bright side to being married to a truck driver!
