What's in the Oven

I love baking this time of year.

The best part is having the boys in the kitchen with me.

We decide ahead of time

who needs basket.

Then it begins.

We bake the cookies and bread.

We make the fudge and pretzels.

This year Jonny and Joseph were in charge of the pretzels.

Glorious chocolate covered pretzels.

Jonny took the dipping job seriously.

Carefully covering each pretzel.

Then Joseph could sprinkle them with....sprinkles.

Meanwhile....

I was working on these babies.

The original recipe is "5 Chip Cookies".

But...

I'm not a fan of butterscotch,

so they have become

you guessed it

4 Chip Cookies

Super yummy and easy.

Beware if you have a peanut allergy, or

if you are trying to shed a few pounds.

These won't help!

But, that's what New Year's Resolutions are for!!!
