Lava

For Christmas Joseph received an "Earthquake and Volcano" science kit. Last week we broke the seal and did some experimenting with it.

First reading the directions. This was a team effort, as no one will be left behind! Seriously, they like to share and do things like this together....plus....

Jonny wanted to wear the safety goggles. Now we are in business.

After mixing together all the ingredients, the "hot, molten lava" or to quote Austin Powers, "magma" began to flow from the top of our volcano. After about an hour the flow finished, harden and then was removed so we can do it all over again!

Just another day of mixing explosives in the kitchen!
