B.R.A.G.

Here's a little more on the BRAG. BRAG stands for Bike Ride Across Georgia. When grandpa retired from the police force several years ago, he got into road biking. You know the 10 speed kind (although I really don't know how many speeds). Anyway, shortly thereafter he moved to GA and started riding the BRAG. Once a year a large group of cyclists. Did I say large...this year there was close to 2,000. They start in one part of the state and each day ride somewhere between 60-70 miles. Yes, I said (or typed) miles. This year it
started north of us and ended in St. Simon's. Jacob has been wanting to ride, but is not quite up to the whole thing and he really
doesn't ride on the public roads very much.
So we met up with the group that grandpa was traveling with
and Jacob rode the first leg. Here they are at about 7am. Mark
didn't have to leave until later that night, so he was able to ride too!
Jacob is the one in gray and Mark to his left. Grandpa on the far right.
They left the local high school and headed for Macon.
Jacob rode about 15 miles and then he and Mark decided to
head back. Next year they plan to ride much more.
