Extended Warranites

I know there is a controversy out there about extended warranties, but let me tell you a little story.



Ford- twice in the last couple of months we've had to take the Excursion in for repairs. Luckily Mark bought the extended warranty and everything was covered. Even though the car was used, we extended it to 100,000 miles and at 91,000 when the brake sensor went out (not allowing me to put it into gear) everything was covered.



Best Buy- the blessing of the day- our camera has been acting up. It shuts off when you try to use the zoom. I remembered that we purchased the protection plan when we bought it (2006) but couldn't remember how long it was good. Today when we took the camera in to our suprise it's through 2010. WOW! We both shouted with joy and I think the clerk thought we were nuts. I may be crazy, but next week Kodak is sending me a new camera!



Sometimes those plans ARE worth it.
