Tonight as I was making dinner (yes, I cook real meals in the camper), it dawned on me that we only have 7 more nights in the camper. It's gone by so fast. We moved in Dec 28th and then landed in the Atlanta area on Jan 1st.
A few lessons learned:
-how to share one bathroom and space out showers to help the water heater
-shuffling around laundry baskets to sleep at night
-laundry MUST be done every couple of days (there's just no room for it to stack up)
-water hoses will freeze
-snow is hard on awnings
-there is no privacy
-we don't really need cable/ satelite TV to survive
-we can homeschool
-the metal steps will ice over (I have the bruises to prove it)
-Murray is a BIG dog
All in all it has been fine, but we are looking forward to moving into our new house. Today we met the carpet guy to measure and get ideas. I forgot just how much space we are going to have, or maybe it feels huge compared to the camper. Regardless, we look forward to Tuesday when at 11am they hand over the keys.

How exciting! We remodeled our house and lived with my in-laws for four months so I can totally relate. :)
