I'm not quite sure when it all started.
I think it was back in Ocala.
That was when the boys (and I mean ALL the boys)
discovered the Golden Corral.
The finest in "belly-up to the bar" dining.
Don't get me wrong- I can appreciate "All You Can Eat"
It has become my life with two boys that can almost
eat their weight in steak.
And can they put a hurtin' on the steak!
Even Jonny.
He's all about the beef.
(Notice the short sleeve shirt...just watch)
Usually the boys visit the carving station 2-3 times
before the real fun begins.
The real fun? You ask.
It begins here.....
The soft, self-serve ice cream!
See, the boys have a contest.
Who can eat the most ice cream.
What they don't realize is, that if they would skip the steak
and head straight for the ice cream,
they would have the advantage.
But, the carnivore in them wins- every time!
We are serious about the ice cream.
It must be in a glass- a bowl just won't do- too small.
It must have candy.
And then it begins....
Big Joe going full throttle.
Jacob- ever so serious.
Jonny still smiling.
(Notice he's added a jacket)
It's getting tough.
(He's now wearing Joseph's coat and the jacket)
But in the end- he just couldn't catch the big brother.
I think being a teenager is an unfair advantage!
As for Mark and I...
it's a spectator sport!
(I'll update tomorrow with the details from this weekend- we are still catching our breath)
