Will You Be Home Thursday

That is how the conversation started a couple of weeks ago.

"Will you be home Thursday night?"

Easy enough question for me to answer, but I didn't know the hidden

message encrypted within the question.

It really meant- Will you be home and can we use your house for

the Youth Costume Party.

A little cleaning, a little sorting, a little buying, a little straw

and we welcomed 30 of our closest teenage friends!

Made Frito Pie (in the bag) and tons of other junk food.

It was a great time.  The costumes were original and the kids had a blast!

When they all left, by bus, which was parked in the front yard-

that had the neighbors talking-

anyway

they left around 9 and I was exhausted!

But it was great fun and we will be home on Thursday next year!
